Riverview Vascular Surgeon – Dr. Dariam Cardentey is a board certified vascular surgeon who enjoys working in all areas of vascular surgery with a special interest in the treatment of aortic aneurysms, cerebrovascular disease, as well as peripheral arterial disease, with a focus on advanced limb salvage procedures.

Education and Training
Board Certified Vascular Surgeon, Dr. Cardentey left Cuba at the age of 19 and spent two years in Venezuela on a medical mission trip prior to moving to the United States. He arrived in Miami, FL at the age of 21, and enrolled at Miami Dade College where he obtained his Associate of Sciences degree in Premedical Sciences, before then completing a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at The University of Central Florida.
Dr. Cardentey received his medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and completed general surgery training at Orlando Health in Orlando, FL. He went on to complete a two-year Vascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, where he trained in all aspects of vascular surgery including:
